Latest Quilts

Here is a wall hanging I did and an offset log cabin quilt I've started. The heart quilt has definite issues and will need to be redone in some sections, and maybe the fabric needs to be reconfigured, but overall pretty happy on figuring out the pattern for the most part.

HST's past week

I went over to Donnie's on Sunday and we looked at his squares sent to him by Cathy from the Quilting Board. He decided on a 9 square patch pattern using alternating blacks and black floral squares that were already cut. The pictures are out of order, but you get the idea. They looked really good! I showed him the latest book I got called French Braid Quilts, very nice designs in there. I also dropped off the wall hanging quilt I made for his house on Tuesday, where he showed me his latest purchase, a quilt designing software program called Quilt Design Wizard. I had not seen one of those programs before, it was really neat. We plan on getting back together after the Easter break.

It is finished! I think it turned out nicely with a few minor things that I will remember for next time.

Made a quilt top

well i made a quilt top that was out of purple squares and white squares. The purple squares have different patterns or floral on them. I then went to Joann's tonight and picked out a backing for it that is a various purple and white floral pattern. Here are some pics.
